"Hello Space Brothers!
I was very happy to return home yesterday and find your package waiting
for me! I've since played your tape and found it much to my liking!
VERY GOOD WORK, TRANSISTORS! I especially liked Viva Esquivel, Intrigo
a Portofino, and Mission To Atlantis (although everything is very
good). Can't wait to hear more and maybe someday see you perform in
concert! ...We have a lot in common: I have been a HUGE Philip K.
Dick fan since the time I was a teenager and stold a copy of UBIK.
I am a fan of Piero Piccioni and his work on THE TENTH VICTIM (Love
MINA on that record. Found another Mina record recently and got all
excited but it had another record inside her cover--DAMN!), and much
more.
... Once again, BRAVO MAURIZIO AND VITTORIO! GOOD JOB!"

"I love your web site. The graphics are
expecially groovy. My only complaint is that there was no RealAudio
downloads of your music, because I am very excited to hear The Transistors.
...One of my favorite types of music is the soundtracks from 60's-70's
Italian movies. I love Piero Piccioni: "The 10th Victim"
is one of my all time fave records and films. I'm also a big fan of
Carlo Rustichelli, Armando Trovajoli, Luis Bacalov, and ,of course,
Nino Rota & Morricone. I play lots of this music when I DJ.
...I wrote a song that we play live with Combustible Edison called
"Malocchio", that is my homage to Italian film music.
...I am excited to hear The Transistors.
...I will tell Esquivel about your "Viva Esquivel" song."

"I spoke with Byron Werner today and he
told me that he LOVED your new release!
I'm seeing him this Sunday at the Pasadena City College Flea Market.
I'm sure he'll tell me more.
When you have a promo CD, I'd love to have one to add to KFJC-FM"

"I am writing to you to let you know that
we would like to introduce your homepage again inside the CD-ROM.
We feel that your homepage one of the most interesting, useful homepages
we introduced in our backnumbers, and it is worth another appearance
on the CD-ROM as well. Please take a this into consideration."

"Ahoy Transistors!
I do a radio show of space age exotica pop called 'The Happy Hour"
in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and am always looking for new things to
play on the show. If you could send us promos (CD or Vinyl would be
best, but any format is OK) it would be most appreciated.
... Hi! I got your tape a couple weeks ago, and I thought I wrote
you back. I really like it. I played "Viva Esquivel" on
the show and will play one of the other tracks (don't remember which
one, though). Thanks a lot, and keep in touch."

"Hi! I happened to come across your web
site. Now I am interested in hearing your music!
I have a radio show every Tuesday 12-3pm. I play a variety of music
depending on what mood I am in at the moment. However, my show usually
consists of jazz, blues, swing, and lounge.
I am interested in getting any recordings that you may have done including
your new cd!
I also write a fanzine based out of this area. I would be happy to
write something about your band..."

"I am among the few people in Israel that
digs lounge culture and its always nice to meet new ones.
...Im a musician too and im playing in this band in israel. We are
getting quite famouse here. Its not bachlor but as soon as i find
some people here, i'll open my own lounge group.
...I think your page is great.
...I liked the instrumental parts more than "you never told me".
...Since you said comments are important for you let me tell you something
else: there is a slight lack of flowing and smoothness in some tracks.
I mean that you can hear the isolated MIDI samples (or what ever you
used there). they dont blend with one another, which makes it a bit
rough for that kind of music. although the basic lines are very interesting
and show good research work."

"Hi, Maurizio. I've just been looking through the Transistors
site and the band looks very cool. I run a label in the UK called
Tiny Superhero Records and I would be very interested in hearing your
stuff. We're releasing some cool e-z listening, electronica, space
age stuff and we'd love to hear from you."
Tiny Superhero Records - London - England
"I have just seen your web site and followed
some of the links. I used to Manage the Lambrettas (whilst they were
successful), and have recently been in touch again with Jez, the lead
singer. I am listed as the Manager on "Beat boys in the Jet Age"
(the first album)
...
Have just got your tape. Thank you!
Am playing the first track as I write. Who is the singer on the first
track. Nice song!"

"Hi -- I took a look at your web page and think that what you're
doing sounds very interesting!!
I'm on the board of directors of a local radio station (WEVL-FM 89.9)
and we have several programmers who play exotica/SABPM. I would really
like to obtain a tape of some of your music so that we could be one
of the first to air The Transistors!! (You know how Americans are,
we love to brag about being first or best or biggest or SOMETHING!!)
Can't wait to hear your music!!
...
Dear Maurizio
I'm so glad you contacted me when you did! I just got your tape a
few days ago and am very impressed!! I loaned it to one of our programmers
(who does an "Exotica" program) and he also liked it very
much!
...
He wanted to know whether you have a CD out and if so, if you would
send one to our station so that the Exotica and the World Music programmers
could play cuts from it. He also asked whether your music is very
popular in Italy or whether it's still in the process of building
an audience.
Please let me know about a CD when you have the chance!"
Carolyn Hebert - director of WEVL-FM 89.9
Radio Station - Memphis, Tennessee

Just a note to let you know that your site has been selected to be
added to Pug's "Linkage" page under the "music"

...
I look greatly forward to hearing your music!"
